RSTO’s approach leverages technology to enable the easy collection and visualisation of data.

The RSTO Data platform supports service providers and communities to identify key issues and opportunities to address service gaps.

To develop the platform, RSTO partnered with Palo IT, an innovation consultancy and software development company that specialises in using tech as a force for good. The product is a software platform to drive innovation and efficiency in the RSTO approach.

The key features of RSTO's technology platform include:

  • Data extraction & calculation: The platform is designed to securely take in and de-identify data from existing systems. It then applies standard algorithms to calculate indicators.
  • Dashboards: Customised dashboards offer unique views for service providers and communities. These dashboards allow for longitudinal comparisons and comparisons across different service delivery locations and organisations. This enables stakeholders to easily identify trends and patterns.
  • Insights: The platform also generates summary insights based on the collected data. These insights help stakeholders interpret the data, informing decision-making and action planning.

Overall, RSTO's investment in their technology platform, coupled with their partnership with Palo IT, underscores their commitment to using technology as a tool for driving positive change and addressing service gaps effectively.

This approach has the potential to empower service providers and communities to make data-driven decisions and optimise their service delivery processes.
